Winter White Vignette

Ok, this is going to be short and sweet.  I feel so bad that I haven't been able to talk to you as much as I wish.  I hope 2012 started off well for all of you.  I am super busy with school and work and family, so I haven't really put too much thoughts into transforming my Christmas vignette into winter.  Of course I know my goal is not buying new items and spending a heap load of cash.  If you have read most of my decor posts before, you must already know I am madly in love with whites!  And it's no surprise I'm going with white again.  Don't know much of what new decor trends for 2012 are, but I have a thing for vases lately.  So I am exploring the vase possibilities here.  What I have are really random!  Literally I pulled all the vases I have and put them here on this vignette.

My tree branches are from my neighbor's trees.  So they are not really in any shape or size as pretty as the store bought ones.  But eh what they heck, they are free!

I used my trusty Martha Stewart edge punch and craft paper to jazz up this glass candle votive I got for free from Bath and Body Works.  They once had a promo to give this out with any small candle purchase.  I still have so many more of them than I know what to do with.

I think white is a wonderful and classic way to decorate. I also love decorating with natural elements, mostly because they are so cheap! The look turned out great!

I love your white vignette and would love it if you came back and posted Wednesday night where you will get a lot more traffic. I confused people by holding a surprise linky party that focused on a creativity challenge.

did you know that if you cut branches from a flowering tree or bush (forsythia, crabapple, cherry, etc.) and put them in a vase of water that they will, in about 1 - 2 weeks, BLOOM! Great way to transition to spring, even if it's wishful thinking!
